DESCRIPTION
The legendary rose from Grasse.
Costly, scarce and rarely used – the calm, serene scent is classically elegant. Rosa Centifolia, also called Rose de Mai grows mainly in Grasse, southern France and flowers during the month of May – hence its name. To preserve its sweet fragrance, the flowers are gathered at dawn, just as they bloom, and are then processed whilst fresh. It takes approximately 307,000 roses to produce 1kg of oil; and an entire year’s production is less than one day’s production of Bulgarian Rose.

Each is hand made in England celebrating traditional British artisanal candle-making skills. The scent and the candle wax are blended and poured in England by hand.
Many of the oils are scarcely used in perfumery let alone candle-making.
Using the finest quality oils Roja Dove has created a selection of award winning candles. Each features a carefully crafted composition of complex, precious raw materials.
The presentation of each candle matches the quality of the contents within. The golden interior glows when the candle is alight, and each candle is luxurious presented with its own golden metal ‘snuffer’ lid.
